• Hold a valid skipass, pedestrian pass or mountain bike pass
• Wear warm clothing and suitable footwear (walking shoes)
• Summer footwear (flip-flops, tatans, flip-flops) forbidden
• Not recommended for people with a fear of heights
• Not accessible to children under 12, or people with reduced mobility (access via stairs only)
• Animals forbidden
• Risk of cancellation in the event of bad weather (wind, storm, etc.)

The bottom station: plunge into the heart of an emblematic project

The intermediate station, the central hub of the Jandri, is the place to be during your visit. This innovative structure is the nerve center of the project. The intermediate station is actually 2 stations grouped together in a single building. This real hub for skiers and visitors brings together unrivalled machinery, a cathedral-like garage and comfortable, modern relaxation areas.

During your visit, you'll have the chance to go behind the scenes of this unsuspected station. A member of the Sata 2 Alpes team will guide you through the building, sharing with you the history, architecture and operation of the Jandri.

    

The Jandri, same area, new dimension

The new Jandri 3S is much more than just a ropeway. It's a technological feat that embodies innovation and progress, and is the result of a collective approach: building sustainably to secure the future of future generations and our mountains.This new means of transport, designed to replace the old Jandri Express and to operate all year round, aims to considerably improve the fluidity and speed of travel between the resort and the glacier.With its impressive transport capacity, it reduces waiting times and increase user comfort.

The colossal 18-month project, located in the heart of Les 2 Alpes, is a veritable hive of activity. Teams were working relentlessly to meet deadlines and deliver an infrastructure that lives up to expectations. A visit to the site gives you a close-up view of the various construction phases, and an insight into the technical challenges faced by the engineers and workers.

The Jandri in a few figures

• Greater speed, with access to 3,200m in 17 minutes instead of 40 today
• Maximum comfort with 32 seats, including 24 seated
• Reduced waiting times, with increased throughput: 3,000 people/hour vs. 1,700 for the old Jandri express
• Panoramic cabins for breathtaking 360° views
• 3S: 3 cables for optimum stability even in 100 km/h winds
• 7 pylons instead of 17 for the old Jandri Express for minimum impact on the landscape
• 4 new stations integrated into their environment for a controlled footprint
